Short Biography
Dr. Wingyan Chung is an Associate Professor in the Institute for Simulation and Training at University of Central Florida. Dr. Chung received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from The University of Arizona. His scholarly interests and expertise include social media analytics, business intelligence, cybersecurity, data and text mining, Web analytics, knowledge management, information visualization, and human-computer interaction. He has over 100 refereed publications in Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, IEEE Computer, Scientific Reports, Journal of Medical Internet Research, IJHCS, Decision Support Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, and ICIS, among others. Recognitions include top ranking in BI and analytics and press coverage in ForwardFlorida and in SIGCSE.
